I regularly get asked for book recommendations and one of the most requested are those for boys. There are things I take into consideration when creating such book lists, and I'd like to share a few reminders and suggestions.

Our Young Enterprise students are busy marketing and selling their products this term, and preparing to pitch their products in Invercargill Dragon's Den -style.
Our Momos-Taste of Nepal team make tasty Nepalese dumplings and a delicious sauce packaged for the freezer which make an awesome winter snack or light meal ($20 for a bag of 10; contact deeppathak1032@gmail.com). 
Our team River are selling a  handy beaker thermos, ideal for hot or cold drinks to keep you hydrated ($50 each; contact mali.grimwood@aparima.school.nz)
Tristan runs a mean basketball session for children at Riverton Primary School on Tuesdays 3-4pm ($2 per session; contact tristan.remata@aparima.school.nz)
