Summary: A graphic novel set in a dystopian future where children from oppressed “regions” have been taken from their homes and forced to live in city “pens”. The children spend their days in a classroom building uniform towers out of small white bricks - trained to think alike and act submissively. Any voice of creativity or dissent is quickly “hushed”, until one day a new student called Tre arrives. As Tre feels his creativity slowly being stifled, he breaks out of the classroom and begins a journey to find his parents.
